After her arrival in San Francisco, California she continued  collecting art and antiques from 19th and 20th Century. Lithographs, Serigraphs, Paintings, Sculptures, by International Artist. In the 1980 Carla Nicole established a Gallery in Laguna Beach, Southern California. The interest in Art Research

led her to reserach provenance and history of a 1514 Old Master Painting.
